Gregg's Customs, Hellion 29 August 15
I have always had a love-hate relationship with Streetfighters as the extreme ones have an exaggerated tail up look that doesn't sit well with my eye for a good design. However, this bike from Gregg's Customs presses all the right buttons for me and looks amazing.
Gregg DesJardins grew up on 2 wheels and was intrigued by all things mechanical. He was mentored by his stock car racing father and he spent his life learning to design, fabricate and build. Gregg’s award winning patented products have been shown in hundreds of industry magazines. Bikes built by Gregg and his team of trusty associates in Deerfield NH have been featured in many motorcycle publications with cover features in Cycle World, Robb Report Motorcycling, Super Streetbike, and 2 Wheel Tuner with many international features as well.
The Hellion is a Yamaha Road Star Warrior Engine in a G.C. chassis that looks reminiscent of the Yamaha MT-01 that is only available in Europe, but uses the same engine as the Warrior.
- The frame was completely designed and built in house at G.C. Customs
- The bike weighs-in at 505 lbs. with some gas.
- Gregg says it feels like sitting on a B-29 engine!
- The tires are 240 rear, 120 front
- Chromo chassis
- Marzocchi, Penske, P.M.,
