XJR1300 Yard-Built 2015 23 August 15
Yamaha dealers from all over Europe were invited to take part in Yamaha's Yard Built competition and this XJR1300 was one of the entrants from Motorrad Klein.
This bike features custom made triple clamps (only one piece!) by BKG, designed by Klein, with milled Yamaha Yard-Built Logo, then blasted with glass bead and anodised. The BKG-3D handlebars were also blasted with glass bead and anodised and they also have Motogadget grips, buttons, M-Lock-System, handlebar-indicators and mirrors. The controls feature a Magura HC³ radial forged brake- and clutch-cylinder (there is only one piece world-wide of each in black color, thanks to the Magura Powersports-Team!) Sitting on top is a Motogadget digital rev-meter/tachometer and out front is a Nolden 7" Bi-LED headlights with hand-made attachments.
The rear features an OVER-Racing modified and black anodised swingarm, an OVER-Racing black anodised sub frame kit and the suspension consists of Öhlins shocks with black anodised parts
The wheels are painted and polished PVM 5 Y-spoke rims made of forged aluminium. The forks are from an MT01 and the brakes are wave design FE-brake discs with brake calipers from the 2015 R1 with steel-flex brake tubes. The rear wheel has a 220mm brake disk, OW01 brake caliper with custom made attachment. The wheels are shod with a Bridgestone Moto3 front rain tyre and a hand made rear tire by Bridgestone
Detail parts consist of a billet rearset kit, sprocket cover, swingarm pivot covers, custom fuel injection covers and oil cooler side covers. To finish off, the bike has a hand-made seat, a Yamaha Sport Tracker mudguard with hand-made attachments, an Alu-sprocket, a Lightech black anodised tank cap, a white ceramic coated exhaust system with Akrapovic "silencer and Brandy-Red paintwork from a 1973 Yamaha RD350.
